Arterial Blood Gas Analysis:

This blood drawn lab test evaluates the acid-base balance of the blood to learn more about the breathing pattern of the patient and can help evaluate the oxygen level. This will help determine if a patient will need oxygen full time or other devices to help keep this balance within normal range.

EKG – Electrocardiogram:

This is a test that records the electrical activity of the rhythm of the heart. This diagnostic tool can help treat irregular heart rhythms or detect new abnormal rhythms that could lead to a heart attack.

EEG – Electroencephalogram:

This diagnostic test records the brain activity over a set period of time to determine seizure activity or other neurological conditions.

Holter Monitor:

This state of the art digital monitor can be ordered by a physician to be worn for 24 or 48 hours to retain heart rhythm. This helps your physician develop a more appropriate treatment plan and be able to make the best decision for your heart health care.
